For this piece I used as inspiration the beautiful model Jessica and the song "Broken Wings" by Sage Francis. I was trying to capture a contrast of elements by giving her a broken wing yet a penetrating look as if she has not given up even if she cannot fly anymore.
I'm beginning to discover my own style; I'm looking hard for it trying to find it sitting in a corner. I will keep looking until I see it before my eyes. This is a step towards it, but I know I still have a long way to go.
